MOVIES & TV

In no particular order.

• Bojack Horseman
  
  A show about a sad horse man. Do not binge it and don't give up during the first season, it gets much better in the next season.
• Tear along the dotted line
  
  A show that lures you in with the funny antics of the main character and then gutpunches you with the ending. I really don't want to spoil anything, but don't watch it if you've recently lost someone to suicide.
• Jessica Jones (Season 1)
  
  Season one only, I didn't really like anything that came afterwards. Mild superhero stuff, but the exploration of Jessica's character and her connection to the main villain is much more interesting.
• Breaking Bad
  
  It's cool and good. Also not recommended to binge.
• Better call Saul
  
  A prequel, but best enjoyed after watching Breaking Bad. Almost better than BB in my opinion.
• Invincible
  
  Animated show about a young superhero, quite violent and gorey at times. Source for one of my favorite characters of all time.
  
  

OTHER STUFF YOU CAN CHECK OUT

• Dragonball Z Abridged
  
  Please watch it, even if you don't like Dragonball. It starts out a bit rough audio quality wise, but it gets hilarous fast. Available for free on Youtube.

• YMS: Kimba the white lion
  
  A good video about how the Lion King did not, in fact, rip off Kimba the white lion. Also delves very well into original & not original ideas, tropes and other important topics. Definitely watch it.
• Gemini Home Entertainment
  
  Analog horror that gave me actual nightmares. (But maybe I'm just a lightweight when it comes to horror.) Watch the Nexpo video for a quick rundown or check out the official Youtube channel!
• Local58
  
  Less scary, more atmospheric analog horror. Watch the Nexpo video for a quick rundown or check out the official Youtube channel!

DO NOT RECOMMEND

Hot or cold takes depending on your opinion. I didn't enjoy them.

• Cyberpunk Edgerunners
  
  I really wanted to like it because I love the Cyberpunk worldbuilding. Unfortunately it bored me to death with an uninteresting story, characters that were cookie-cutter at best and unbearably annoying at worst as well as emotional plotpoints that just fell flat. Every time I began getting mildly invested in a character they died. For the whole duration of the show I kept waiting for it to finally start getting good (especially because of all the praise I kept seeing about it online), and then it just ended. The only things I enjoyed are the gorgeous visuals and animation. Verdict: If you've ever seen an anime, you've seen this show.
• Primal
  
  Awesome, awesome show that got absolutely MASSACRED by that abomination of an ending. Spoilers: The male main character gets almost burned to death and the female main character decides that now is the best time to bounce on that charred dick. He dies. Smashcut to a timeskip where she has a kid. Ew. It still makes me want to throw up just thinking about it. Verdict: Stick to the first season only or don't bother.
• Love, Death & Robots (Season 4)
  
  The newest season disappointed me. Very short episodes, unmemorable at best and annoying at worst. Look, I love cats as much as the next guy, but for some reason they're shoehorned into every other episode in this season as if they're the most hilarious and rAnDem xD thing ever and their mere presence should make you laugh and clap. "For he can creep" was the ultimate culmination of everything I hated about this season. Verdict: Just rewatch the previous seasons.
